Exploring the internet for couples photos inspiration can be exhausting. Overwhelmed with Pinterest couples that look a certain way and represent a certain type of person can wear you out! Well I say no more! It is my mission as a photographer Florida to represent couples of all types.
Emphatically, I admit that I am no perfect ally. However it is my commitment to being inclusive with my language, planning process and overall experience. Working with Tyler and Cal I was able to stretch my posing skills and find new ways to help couples feel most like themselves in front of the camera. I am not only a photographer florida, but a human being who is continually learning and growing so that I can be an advocate for my couples and my community.
Meanwhile, it is my goal to provide you with the best photos… that look and feel like YOU!
So when you’re planning your session here are a few tricks:
1. Coordinate… don’t match! There’s nothing more predictable than white t’s and jeans on a florida beach. Don’t be those people! All of my couples receive a planning guide to help with outfit pairing, tones, colors and location choices. Use a color palette to enhance your look and wear styles that feel comfortable and confident.
2. Everyone feels awkward. Yes, even photographers sometimes. Being in front of the camera isn’t natural for everyone. But trust that if your focus in on each other and you allow yourselves to be fully present together you’ll have a good time. Go ahead and be silly, be serious, embrace the moment… whatever feels true to your love language as a couple will come through on camera.
3. Be yourself! Likewise, there’s nothing worse than getting pictures back and not recognizing the person in them. These are photos that should tell your truth and share your love. Bring champagne if you enjoy drinking together. Or wear that special necklace he got you in sixth grade. If its special and unique to you as a couple than don’t shy away from it. Let’s take pictures at the arcade bar or in the bed of a truck. Possibilities are endless!
