There are so many gorgeous wedding venues in St. Augustine. But at the very top of that list for me is the Treasury St Augustine. After visiting for a tour I was overjoyed when I was asked to assist Sarah Resta Photography at Nate & Taylor’s wedding.
We started the morning at the Collector Inn where Taylor and her bridesmaids got ready. After they donned their lavender robes we stepped outside for champagne toasts. Taylor had the most gorgeous silver details and simple classic taste.
Their black tie wedding ceremony was held at the Pena Peck house in the downtown quarter of St Augustine. Taylor’s cathedral veil trailed behind her as she was led down the aisle by her father. Nate glowed as he saw his bride approach. Their ceremony was full of emotion followed by deep shared joy.
Following the ceremony we explored the historic quarter and captured their “just married” portraits. Nate and Taylor enjoyed the shouts and cheers of congratulations. All of the folks enjoying the day downtown celebrated the couple as we made our walk to the Treasury St Augustine.
The Treasury St Augustine has wall to wall character perfect for a unique wedding day.
Undoubtedly, my favorite feature is the original bank vault door. Behind this is a walk-in area that features a full bar. Additionally, with the door open it is the perfect picturesque spot for a wedding cake!
Additionally, the floor to ceiling columns and wide central dance floor make for the perfect wedding reception. Scroll to see more of this amazing venue space!
