Eddie & Allyson’s wedding at the Alfred B Maclay Gardens was the best day of 2020! I was so honored to be chosen as their Tallahassee Wedding Photographer! After the uncertainty of COVID, I was thankful to capture the sweetest I do’s and wild dance moves for this awesome couple.
I arrived to the gardens not knowing what to expect. Nestled behind a gorgeous State Park was the cutest getting ready suite. Eddie & Allyson’s unique personalities shone through their whole day! Together with the emerald velvet suit Eddie chose and the lace caped dress Allyson wore it was 100% them. Not only did they pour their hearts into this day but they got all that love in return.
Once Allyson was ready we went to the lakefront underneath giant mossy oaks for the most special and intimate first look. They shared their vows and not to mention we were all teary eyed.
Following their first look we went over to the gardens for their ceremony. Eddie and Allyson made sure that their guests were comfortable with plenty of social distance and allowed them to have a 360 degree view of the ceremony.
After the ceremony, we were off to take their amazing portraits!
As I’ve said before these two have a love that can be felt! Its seen by their adorable smiles, stolen kisses and fun-loving personalities.
Surprisingly, hidden in the gardens was the cutest outdoor reception space. The wedding was perfectly designed with the help Brianna, of the Apostolic Wife, and the boho wedding of Allyson’s dream came to life. Indeed their reception space was the perfect blend of vintage and fun. Full of pampas grass, emerald green accents and missmatched rugs it was the perfect space!
Congratulations Eddie & Allyson! I am so honored that you chose me to capture not only your downtown Tallahassee engagement photos but your incredible wedding there too! I truly love you guys!
