Picture this: girl meets boy sitting behind her in sixth grade. His outlandish comments and class-clown charm wins her over and become lifelong friends. In due time they turn into more when they both move far from home in Brooklyn. After a whirlwind adventure of big cities and law school, Ross & Marissa eventually moved home. Finally, they planned for an epic wedding at The Addison in Boca Raton. In fact, this venue was the exact place where Marissa’s brother was wed just years prior.
But in true fashion, not everything goes according to plan. Amidst an already loaded guest list, a thoughtful menu to plan and a vendor selection to secure they also were faced with a looming problem. Yes, as we all know now, COVID-19 was just around the corner. After a long debate (in true lawyer fashion), Ross & Marissa postponed their November wedding. In the hope that they would have the wedding of their dreams, they aimed for February 2022.
During many phone calls and changed plans they realized their wedding may look a bit different. While their guest list was slashed, receptions were moved outside, and menus were changed, Ross & Marissa never lost sight of their ultimate goal. Marriage.
When February finally arrived, they still had the perfect wedding at The Addison in Boca Raton.
Certainly, the sentiment of this wedding was in every moment. This stunning wedding was performed by the Rabbi that attended both Ross & Marissa’s bar/bat mitzvahs. Their family and closest friends arrived for an epic weekend long celebration. Finally, they packed the outdoor dance floor all night in true party fashion.
